Held recently in NYC, the 2018 Victoria's Secret fashion show castings attracted photographers from all over the world who were hoping to catch a glimpse of who the stunning models would be.
Footage flooded social media of models in the shortest shorts, the most fashionable leather skirts, perfectly toned legs and the standard one strap nude or black skinny heel.
How many of us wish we had the long giraffe-like legs and the exact perfect curves to attempt an audition for the Victoria's Secret annual fashion show? Yep- I'm raising my hand.
Much like many other castings within the modeling industry, did you know that the models who attended the casting had to receive an invite from the directors to attend?
Once the directors narrowed down the models from their 1st round of castings, many of whom were the creme of the crop models who walked the shows in previous years to newcomers who were hoping to get discovered, the ladies were asked to attend a callback.
A callback in the modeling/acting industry is when you have previously met with a client and they wish to see you a 2nd and maybe even a 3rd time as they finalize their list of chosen models and or actors.
It's essentially "calling you back" to see you again.
The ladies who received the glorious honor to cast are signed with some of the biggest modeling agencies of the world and some are already household names.
While all the ladies chosen are spectacular and are receiving an honor of a lifetime, here are just a few of my favorites who took to Instagram to share their excitement and gratitude.
